Learning Russian in Proverbs

Abstract: In this paper, an attempt is made to select Russian proverbs, sayings and idioms to reinforce the teaching of the Russian language in the elementary stage of learning. The choice was made taking into account, firstly, attracting students' interest to the wise, moral, motivating content of proverbs and, secondly, considering current trends in teaching. Selection of proverbs sayings and idioms according to the proficiency level. How can we use proverbs & sayings in the classroom?
