Abstract: This paper investigates the significant changes in journalism and media that have been sparked by the widespread impact of the internet. It explores how the internet has changed journalistic techniques, redefined audience participation, and restructured traditional news transmission, all while examining the far-reaching effects of digital connectedness. The issues presented by digital misinformation, the emergence of citizen journalism, and the democratization of information are among the major themes. The analysis takes into account changes in the ways that people consume information, the emergence of internet platforms, and the ways that social media is influencing public conversation. The study sheds light on the complex interactions between technological breakthroughs and the journalism profession as we navigate this ever-changing terrain.
