Abstract: This study examines how comfort, convenience, and energy efficiency can all be significantly improved by IoT-based home automation. Significant energy savings and enhanced user experiences are revealed by our studies. We present an in-depth analysis of the modern IoT technologies, complete with a working prototype system that makes use of ESP32-enabled switches that are managed via a rainmaker application. The suggested method makes IoT-based home automation accessible and advantageous for modern families by streamlining switch operation and providing a financially viable substitute for traditional smart switches. Additionally, our system includes IR remote control and voice assistant features, making it easier for disabled individuals to use. By incorporating these features, our solution optimizes energy use and enhances convenience for all users, contributing to inclusive and efficient smart homes.
