Abstract: International travel plays a significant role in the spread of emerging infectious diseases around the world. As people move across borders for tourism, business, or study, they can inadvertently carry pathogens with them to new regions, leading to outbreaks and pandemics. This essay explores the impact of international travel on the spread of emerging infectious diseases, examining the various factors that contribute to this phenomenon and the potential strategies to mitigate risks. By understanding the interconnected nature of global travel and disease transmission, policymakers and health professionals can better prepare for and respond to future outbreaks.
