Abstract: Opioid addiction is a growing public health crisis that has disproportionately affected rural communities in recent years. This essay evaluates the public health response to opioid addiction in these rural areas, examining the effectiveness of current interventions and proposing ways to improve the overall approach.
Through a review of existing literature and data analysis, this essay aims to provide insight into the best practices for addressing opioid addiction in rural communities.
