Abstract: This study explores the effects of telemedicine implementation on the delivery of primary care services in rural areas. As healthcare systems struggle to provide equitable access to care in remote regions, telemedicine has emerged as a potential solution to bridge geographical gaps. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of relevant studies, this research examines the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions in rural primary care settings. The findings demonstrate significant improvements in healthcare access, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes when telemedicine is integrated into rural primary care delivery. This study highlights the potential of telemedicine to address healthcare disparities in rural areas and advocates for its wider adoption while also acknowledging the challenges and limitations of this approach.
