Abstract: This comprehensive study examines the impact of Health Information Systems (HIS) on administrative decision-making in healthcare organizations. We investigate the implementation and outcomes of various HIS solutions in healthcare settings through a systematic literature review, case study analysis, and expert interviews. Our findings indicate that well-implemented HIS significantly improves administrative decision-making quality, speed, and accuracy. Key benefits include enhanced data accessibility, improved resource allocation, and more effective performance monitoring. However, issues like data quality, user adoption, and integration complexities persist. Despite these obstacles, the study concludes that he plays a crucial role in supporting evidence-based administrative decision-making in healthcare.
