Abstract: The implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) in dental settings presents both challenges and opportunities for healthcare providers. This essay explores the various obstacles and advantages associated with transitioning to digital records in dental practices. Challenges include financial constraints, limited technical expertise, data security concerns, and resistance to change among staff. On the other hand, opportunities include improved patient care coordination, enhanced data accuracy, increased efficiency, and potential for research and analysis.
