Abstract: Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is a systematic approach used to identify the health needs of a particular community by taking into account various factors such as demographics, socio-economic status, and existing health services. This assessment provides valuable information that helps in developing healthcare plans and strategies to address the identified needs effectively. This essay aims to explore the importance of CHNA and healthcare planning at the Master level, focusing on the process of conducting a needs assessment, analyzing the findings, and developing strategies to improve community health outcomes. The essay will discuss the key findings of a CHNA, its implications for healthcare planning, and the role of stakeholders in implementing strategies to address community health needs. Furthermore, it will provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities involved in the process, highlighting the significance of evidence-based practice and collaboration in promoting health equity and improving population health.
