Abstract: The role of pharmacists has significantly evolved over the years from solely dispensing medications to providing a wide range of clinical services. This shift has been necessitated by the changing landscape of healthcare and the increasing complexity of medication therapy. Continuous education is essential for pharmacists to stay abreast of these changes and to deliver optimal patient care. This essay explores the evolving role of pharmacists, the importance of continuous education, and the challenges and recommendations for pharmacists in maintaining their competence.
