Abstract: Nanocomposite technology, leveraging the integration of shear thickening fluids (STFs), silica nanoparticles, and Glutaraldehyde cross-linking, presents a revolutionary approach to protective gear, particularly in helmet design. This paper explores the cost-benefit analysis of nanocomposite helmets compared to traditional models, highlighting improvements in weight reduction, impact resistance, and durability. In addition to its application in helmet technology, the versatility of nanocomposites extends.
