Abstract: Software product development has become a constantly changing domain in which the QA team has come forward as the cardinal promoter of high-quality deliverables. This paper, therefore, is in an effort to discuss the major responsibility and major contribution in terms of project success of a QA team. This paper would discuss the problem statement, proposed solutions, uses, the impact made, and the scope of the QA team's role. It also discuses the main competencies and skills required during the quality assurance process in the course of developing software.
