Abstract: Modern airline companies constantly rely on interconnected digital systems and networks; thus, the industry is becoming more susceptible to cybersecurity risks.This paper aims to analyze methods to improve the industry’s cybersecurity by technical means with emphasis on the protection of infrastructure, data and applications.These are secure software development, endpoint protection, IDP, MFA, and encryption.Further, incorporating AI capabilities for real time threat detection and better security monitoring for new challenges in airline cybersecurity is also proposed.
