Abstract: In the highly competitive healthcare industry, organizations are increasingly turning to supply chain optimization as a key strategy to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. One critical approach is the integration of advanced technology systems such as Workday's Supply Chain Management (SCM) suite, which offers a unified platform for managing procurement, inventory, and distribution.

This paper examines how Workday SCM practices can enhance the competitive advantage and operational effectiveness of healthcare organizations.

By integrating data from multiple functions and streamlining processes, Workday SCM enables real-time coordination, reduces errors, and provides actionable insights for more informed decision-making. In particular, the study explores the relationship between SCM practices, Workday's system capabilities, and organizational performance, emphasizing the role of integrated data management and automation in optimizing supply chain operations.

The research methodology involves a quantitative survey to test the impact of Workday SCM on key performance metrics such as cost efficiency, responsiveness, resource allocation and market position.
The results suggest that organizations leveraging Workday's integrated SCM solutions are better positioned to achieve cost leadership, enhance resource utilization, and respond more quickly to market demands, thereby improving both competitive advantage and long-term business performance.

This paper contributes to the growing body of literature on the role of technology in supply chain management within the healthcare sector and highlights the importance of adopting advanced ERP systems for optimizing operational workflows and achieving sustainable business success.
