Abstract: This study examines the critical role of effective interdepartmental communication in healthcare settings, specifically focusing on nursing and patient services departments. The research investigates how streamlined communication protocols impact patient outcomes, safety metrics, and healthcare delivery efficiency. By analyzing existing practices and implementing new communication frameworks, this study demonstrates that enhanced interdepartmental communication significantly improves patient care quality, reduces medical errors, and increases staff satisfaction.
