Abstract: Spatial AI integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to enhance the analysis, interpretation, and utilization of geospatial data. This paper explores the theoretical foundations, methodologies, and applications of Spatial AI, emphasizing its transformative potential across various domains. Key challenges, including data quality, computational complexity, and system integration, are discussed, alongside future directions for real-time analytics and the role of AI in advancing GIS capabilities. The paper incorporates case studies, diagrams, and tabular data to illustrate the integration's practical implications.
