Abstract: Distributed systems have become a cornerstone of modern computing, enabling scalability, fault tolerance, and efficient resource utilization. Apache frameworks, developed and maintained by the Apache Software Foundation, have emerged as key enablers in the development of these systems. This paper explores the role of Apache frameworks in building scalable distributed systems, examining their architectural principles, features, and use cases. Through a detailed analysis, we highlight how frameworks such as Apache Camel, Apache Tomcat, and Apache Struts empower organizations to meet the challenges of Java-based development, real-time integration, and scalable web applications.
