Abstract: This paper proposes a Real-Time Smart Garbage Monitoring and Management System using IoT and Raspberry Pi to address urban waste management issues. Ultrasonic sensors monitor bin fill levels and send data to a cloud database via Wi-Fi. A web interface allows authorities to track bin status in real-time, and automated alerts notify collection teams when bins are full. The system improves efficiency, reduces costs, and supports eco-friendly practices by minimizing manual work and enabling better route planning. Future enhancements may include machine learning for predictions, solar power, and smart waste segregation.
