Abstract: One of the main causes of death worldwide is traffic accidents. Due to delayed medical attention, many incidents end in serious injuries or fatalities. In order to identify accidents in real time and notify emergency personnel and relevant authorities, this project suggests an Internet of Things (IoT)-based vehicle accident detection and prevention system. The system uses a GPS-GSM module to provide accident location information via SMS, an ADC MEMS sensor to detect unexpected shocks or accidents, and an infrared sensor to track vehicle movement. In addition, an LCD display shows the current state in real time, and a buzzer warns others in the vicinity. By guaranteeing a quicker reaction time in an emergency, this intelligent system improves road safety.
